Bartell's Hosts School Supply Drive

Starting August 29th, Bartell Drug Stores will be hosting a "Back to School Youth Ticket" program. Through September 5th, anyone who donates new school supplies at any Seattle area Bartell Drug Store can request a voucher for two free youth tickets to the Space Needle's observation deck.

The school supplies will be distributed to low-income students in the Seattle School District. Vouchers are available at all Bartell Drug Stores while supplies last.

Sew Dayton is Kickstarting a new store!

 

 

Sew Dayton is hoping to open an expanded storefront in the university area this fall, and is looking to the community for help. The goal of the owners is to create an informal gathering place for the region's craft and sewing community where people can come to talk, teach, and learn. To achiveve this, they have launched a Kickstarter project to raise the final $5,000 they need for rent. If the project is successful, look for Sew Dayton to open around Christmas. We'll keep you updated!
